Boo!

Considering how the past month has unfolded, it's no wonder I haven't written. During that time, I was setting my alarm quite early, varying between the hours of 2 to 4 a.m.. Working nine to ten hours per day was rather challenging. Oftentimes, I'd feel as if I was on "automatic pilot". Shower, eat, work, eat, and sleep - that was the routine. LoL! Oh, and the repetitive packaging motion which utilized my upper body didn't help whatsoever. My palms were often bruised, forearms would seize up, and fingers cramped often. A coworker, "S", told me that it sounded as if the beginnings of tendinitis. Who knows. It could simply be that I've been a pansy and never really exercised those muscles before. Overtime was definitely earned. We were told to anticipate working Saturday mornings for six hours. Only one such of a day occurred.

Monday morning, my supervisor walked up to me and said it was my last day for the season. That's how it works for seasonal employees - always last minute notices so you're never really prepared. Keeping my head about me, I can only think to go to the local employment agency next week and fill out applications to substitute with the local school districts, too.

G'night!

Happy Halloween ... Happy Samhain!
